Bucknell Women's Track & Field Leads League with 55 Academic Honor Roll Selections

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's track and field team placed a league-leading 55 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Thursday. The Bison, which had more than twice the honorees as the next closest school, also had a league-best eight student-athletes with perfect 4.0 grade-point averages during the spring semester, including Caroline Tolli (Lockport, N.Y./Lockport), Jennifer Pierce (Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J./Northern Highlands), Amy Mantush (Drums, Pa./Hazelton), Allison Janda (Plymouth, Mich./Salem), Colleen Gavigan (Clarks Summit, Pa./Abington Heights), Stephanie Evans (York, Pa./Central York), Kelcey Coffin (Somerville, N.J./Somerville) and Molly Burke (Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y./Hastings).
A total of 195 women's track and field student-athletes across the Patriot League were named to the Academic Honor Roll. Bucknell's 55 selections led the way, followed by Lehigh with 28 and Holy Cross and Lafayette with 27 apiece. Of the 195 award winners, 18 student-athletes earned GPAs of 4.0.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
