Five Bison Named to Patriot League Women's Basketball Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Five members of the Bucknell women's basketball team were named to the 2009 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, it was announced Monday by the league office. Among the honorees were senior co-captains and 2009 All-Patriot League selections Amanda Brown and Lauren Schober. They were joined by sophomores Cosima Higham and Joyce Novacek, and freshman Trisha Krewson, the Patriot League Rookie of the Year who earned a perfect 4.00 grade-point average during the 2009 spring semester.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's six winter or 10 spring championship sports.
