LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Alex Lyons (Owings Mills, Md./Boys' Latin) and Mike Danylyshyn (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport), two first-year members of the Bucknell men's lacrosse team, have been named to Inside Lacrosse's list of "Top 100 Incoming Freshmen."
Lyons was ranked No. 38 on the list, which features players headed to all the traditional national powers, such as Johns Hopkins, Duke, Virginia, Maryland and Princeton. Lyons is second among the six Patriot League players in the rankings, trailing only Army's Tim Henderson. He is also ranked seventh among all defensemen.

A first-team all-state selection, Lyons is one of four top-100 players from powerful Boys' Latin School. He will join another Boys' Latin alum in senior Evan Burns on Bucknell's defensive unit. Lyons played in the prestigious Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic this past June.
Danylyshyn, a lefty attackman came in at No. 94 on the Inside Lacrosse list. A two-sport star in lacrosse and hockey at Fairport High School, Danylyshyn is coming off a 76-point season (45G, 31A), when he earned all-county honors for the second year in a row.
Lyons and Danylyshyn are two of 12 members of a promising recruiting class hoping to make an immediate contribution at Bucknell. The Bison finished 11-4 last spring, one victory shy of the school record, and they ranked No. 20 in the final USILA Coaches' Poll.
