Game Notes
Bucknell has a number of milestones within reach as the 2006-07 campaign winds down to its final week. The first significant accomplishment the Bison will aim for is breaking the program record for consecutive wins, a feat that could be accomplished Saturday against Colgate as they go for their eighth straight win. Bucknell could also clinch its first outright Patriot League title since 1995-96 with a victory and an Army loss to Navy on Sunday. Regardless, a win over the Raiders will give the Bison at least a share of the title. Prior to the game, seniors Lindsey Hollobaugh and Jacquie Seawright will be honored as they play their final regular season home contest. Hollobaugh, the lone player to be with the Bison over the last four years, is sixth on Bucknell's career scoring list with 1,382 points, while Seawright has been a valuable player in her two years since transferring from South Plains Junior College, totaling 374 points and 211 rebounds.
ABOUT COLGATE
Colgate endured a 14-game losing streak earlier this year, but has won three of its last five games despite playing four of those without leading scorer Melanie Cargle. Cargle, who owns a team-best scoring average of 12.1 points per game, including a league-best 20.1 in conference games, is the lone Raider scoring in double figures. Caitlin Gillard is second on the squad at 9.9 points per game, while Gretchen Polinski, the lone Colgate player to play in and start all 26 games, leads the team in rebounding at 6.7 per contest. Due to a number of injuries, the Raiders have had nine different players appear in the starting lineup this year, while six of those players have started at least 10 games.
BISON VS. RAIDERS
Bucknell has won the last three games in the series with Colgate by an average of 19.7 points to take a 28-17 advantage in the all-time series. The Bison have won four of the last five contests and the last four matchups have been decided by 19.3 points per contest.
WITH A VICTORY OVER COLGATE, BUCKNELL WOULD...
...stretch its best-ever Patriot League start to 11-1
...improve to 11 games over .500 for the first time since ending the 2001-02 season with a 21-10 record
...break the program record for consecutive wins
...reach 19 wins for the third time in program history
...win at least 11 games in the Patriot League for the second time
...post 11 wins in an 12-game span for the first time in program history
...clinch at least a share of the regular season Patriot League title
...sweep the regular season series from Colgate in back-to-back years for the first time since 1997 and 1998

WIN CLINCHES SHARE OF TITLE
With a win over Colgate, Bucknell will clinch at least a share of the Patriot League title. The Bison currently have a "magic number" of two over Army to claim the outright title for the second time in the 17-year history of the Patriot League.
GOOD SHOOTING FOR FOSTER
In each of the last six games Hope Foster has attempted at least 10 field goals and has made at least 50.0 percent of her shots as well. She is second in the Patriot League, making 53.4 percent of her field goals this season. That figure, which ranks 43rd in the nation, would break the Bucknell single-season standard.
OPENING MONTH 4-0
For the first time since February 2002, Bucknell has commenced a month 4-0. The Bison opened that month with five consecutive victories, one shy of the program high for wins to begin a month.
WINS FOR SENIOR CLASS
Bucknell seniors Lindsey Hollobaugh and Jacquie Seawright will be playing their final regular season home contest against Colgate. While Seawright transferred from South Plains Junior College prior to her junior campaign, Hollobaugh will be trying to lead the Bison to their 62nd win during her four years. That figure would tie the 1989 senior class for fourth on Bucknell's all-time list.
