Dear Mom & Dad,
This training trip should only be referred to as a training camp, Camp Elberton. We got on a bus, and headed to Georgia, for two weeks with no school, no homework and no professors with our best friends doing what we love to do.
While daily activities were limited to water sports mainly, rowing eights, fours and singles, we also took part in runs through the woods. And, when time allowed, we cooked and baked, played board games, did arts and crafts, and picnic table fun!
Our days were hard, but details of hours and specifics are not important. We don't partake in camps to impress others with what we did. What we will take from camp are new skills we can apply to the spring. And come spring, when we reach new speeds, you can be impressed then.
Love,
Brittany
P.S. SEND CANDY, JUNK FOOD & ATHLETIC TAPE ASAP
