ELBERTON, Ga. - The Bucknell women's rowing team got its spring break trip to Georgia off to a good start last week when it swept in-state foe Duquesne on Lake Russell. The Bison varsity eight, second varsity eight and third varsity eight boats all defeated the Dukes as a series of three four-minute races were contested.

Bucknell, which spent a week training in Georgia, will compete in the Murphy Cup in Philadelphia, Pa., Saturday. The Bison advanced all four of their boats to the finals of their respective races at last year's Murphy Cup.
