PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - As it continues its preparation for next week's Head of the Charles, the Bucknell women's rowing varsity four took part in the Navy Day Regatta Saturday on the Schuylkill River Saturday and took second place in the 17-boat field. The Bison completed the 4,000-meter course in 17 minutes, 21.60 seconds.
Stroke-Kelly Henkler, 3-Page Kannor, 2-Caitlin Doolin, bow-Whittney Henry and coxswain Katie Kessler were the Bucknell rowers in the boat.
The Bison finished 15 seconds behind first-place Dowling, but crossed the finish line ahead of Patriot League foes Lehigh (4th place, 17:48.40), Lafayette (6th place, 17:50.50) and Navy (11th place, 18:37.30).
