Bison Track and Field Kicks Off Competition at ECAC/IC4A Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. - Sophomore Matt Forys notched a 15th-place finish in the 10,000-meters on Friday night at the IC4A Outdoor Track and Field Championships, in Princeton, N.J. The sophomore ran a personal-best time of 30:51.94, for the highest finish by a Bison on the day.
Seniors Sean McCarthy and Dan Lounsbury were also participants in the 10,000, running times of 31:39.32 and 32.09.49, respectively. McCarthy recorded a 26th-place showing, while Lounsbury finished 30th overall.
On the women's side, Nina Reinhardt was the only Bison to compete in the ECAC Championships, standing in 10th place with four events completed of the heptathlon. The sophomore finished the 100-meter hurdles in 15.40, cleared a height of 5-00.5 in the high jump, threw 34-00 in the shot put and ran 27.10 in the 200-meters, for a tally of 2713 after day one.
The championships continue tomorrow with events beginning at 9:00 a.m.
