Bucknell Falls to Virginia 8-2 in Season Opener

Bucknell ran into a strong Cavalier defense that only allowed two shots during the first half.
Bucknell's first goal came at the 46:05 mark when a shot from sophomore Callista Costopoulos was saved by
Junior Kelly O'Brien put Bucknell's second goal on the board by scoring off her own rebound at the 64:43 mark.
Bucknell goalkeeper Liz Jordan notched 11 saves in 70 minutes of work.
The Bison will be in action again on Tuesday beginning at 6 p.m. at home on Graham Field against the Drexel Dragons.
