Change in Men's Lax Start Time Results in Altering of Saturday's Bison Sports Network Broadcast Schedule

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bucknell's men's lacrosse game at Hobart Saturday has been moved to a 5 p.m. start time at Hobart's McCooey Field. Heavy rain in the Geneva, N.Y., area rendered Hobart's grass field unplayable, forcing the move to the Statesmen's artificial turf facility.
That contest had been slated for broadcast on the Bison Sports Network, but the resulting time change (the game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m.) played right into a programming conflict with flagship station WMLP.
As a result, the Bucknell-Colgate softball game, scheduled for 1 p.m. at the West Fields, will be aired on the Bison Sports Network. Doug Birdsong will call the play-by-play, with the pregame show beginning at 12:45 p.m.
The contest can be heard on WMLP 1380-AM in Lewisburg, as well as on the web at www.BucknellBison.com.
