RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Katie Hartigan scored two goals and Bucknell picked up its first win at the Cal Baptist Lancer Invitational, 4-2 over Sonoma State on Saturday afternoon.

Kelly Hofstetter and Adrienne Fischer also scored for the Bison, who improved to 7-6 on the season.

The Bison grabbed a 2-0 lead after one period and led 3-1 at the half. Sonoma State closed within 3-2 before Bucknell grabbed a late insurance goal to seal the victory.

Freshman goalie Mandy Bynum had a strong game, making seven saves while allowing just the two goals.

The Bison wrap up tournament play later on Saturday against Cal-State Northridge at 10 p.m. Eastern.
