Bison Women's Water Polo Drops 20-5 Decision to 16th Ranked Princeton

SALEM, W.Va. - The Bucknell women's water polo team had its hands full with 16th ranked Princeton at the first set of Southern Division League Games on Saturday, March 8, 2003. The Bison fell 20-5 to the nationally ranked Tigers in the first game of the weekend.
The Orange and Blue found themselves in an early 6-1 hole after the first quarter, and could never recover.
Sophomore Cody Keffer was an offensive highlight for Bucknell, scoring two goals and assisting on two others. Keffer was also one of seven Bison with at least one steal in the contest. Senior Lindsay Chesterfield and freshman Jennifer Meitzner both swiped a team-best two steals.
Chesterfield made six saves in net for BU.
Bucknell falls to 1-4 overall and 0-1 in league play. The Bison face Villanova at 7:00 p.m. this evening.
