Bucknell Women's Water Polo Opens Season Against 13th-ranked Indiana

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Bucknell women's water polo team opened the 2003 season with competition at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, February 15-16, 2003. The Bison squared off against 13th-ranked Indiana in the first game of the day on Saturday, dropping a 13-3 decision to the Hoosiers.
Sophomore Cody Keffer scored all three of Bucknell's goals in the contest, marking the 11th time in her young career she has scored at least three goals in a game. Classmate Katie Hartigan recorded assists on two of Keffer's goals, while sophomore Eileen Ketterer set Keffer up for the other score.
Defensively, freshman Jennifer Meitzner led the way with two steals, while senior Lindsay Chesterfield recorded seven saves in net.
The Orange and Blue, 0-1, are in action against Arizona State on Sunday, February 16, at 9:30 a.m.
