Denefrio and Pikus Compete at Omni Hotels ITA Northeast Regional

Ithaca, N.Y. - Nick Denefrio represented Bucknell in singles and teamed up with Matt Pikus for the Bison in doubles at the Omni Hotels ITA Northeast Regional championship at Ithaca, N.Y. Denefrio had his first round singles match this morning against Dejan Stankovic of St. Bonaventure, dropping that match 7-6(6), 6-2.
Denefrio teamed with Matt Pikus as Bucknell's doubles entry, falling to Ty Esler and Randall Smalley of Lehigh, 8-3. The Bison completed their fall season with the defeats, and will pick up their rackets again in February for the spring season.
