Bison Women's Golf Finishes 11th at Penn State

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The Bucknell women's golf team shot 336 on Sunday and finished in 11th place in a challenging field at the Nittany Lion Fall Invitational.
Celine Herbin broke 80 for the seventh time in nine rounds this fall, carding a seven-over-par 79 in Sunday's final round at the Penn State Blue Course. Her 54-hole composite of 239 put her in a tie for 29th place.
Shooting a tournament-low 295 on Sunday, James Madison came from behind to edge Penn State for the team title by just one stroke. The Dukes totaled 900 to the Lady Lions' 901, while first-round leader Rollins took third at 903.
Maryland (915), Princeton (942), Ohio (947), Bowling Green (958), Yale (958), Stetson (978), Saint Francis (982) and Bucknell (1010) rounded out the field.
Carol Green of JMU fired a four-under 68 in the final round to score a runaway nine-shot victory in the individual standings.
Also for Bucknell, freshman Teri Schlang shot a career-low 83 on Sunday and finished 54th at 256 (85-88-83). Captain Jaime Hays was one shot better at 255 (83-86-86). Meredith Kalman shot 85-87-91, while Stephanie Calhoun carded rounds of 87-91-88.
The Bison have one fall tournament remaining - next weekend at the Rutgers Invitational.
