Bucknell Women's Soccer Victorious Over Marist

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Bucknell women's soccer team victorious, 1-0, against Marist, Sunday, Sept. 8. The Orange and Blue dominated the field tallying 20 shots and only allowing eight to be presented in front of the Bison goal.
Senior Emily Keber scored the lone goal of the game in the 71st minute. She made the shot off of a corner kick made by Michelle Santonacita. Keber shot the ball from 16-yards out from the goal.
Santonacita led the Bison with four shots for the day, while Keber paced closely behind with three. Senior goalkeeper Laurie Purse was located in the box for the entire 90 minutes and saved four shots for the Bison.
Bucknell finish this game with a 2-1 overall record. The Orange and Blue return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. when they play host to Delaware State. Special ceremonies will take place before the game on West Field in honor of Sept. 11.
