Bucknell entered halftime with an 8-0 lead above the Hornets.
The Herd entered the second half once again strong. Head coach Chrissy Findlay placed senior goalkeeper Laurie Purse in the game as a forward during the 57th minute of the game. Only seconds after Purse entered, she scored off of a pass from senior Melissa Lawson.
