Bucknell Women's Soccer Fall To Patriot League Rival Colgate

HAMILTON, N.Y. - Bucknell faced their first Patriot League opponent, Colgate, Saturday and fell 2-0. Senior goalkeeper, Laurie Purse captured seven saves for the day.
The Bison held the Red Raiders through the first half of the game. Colgate scored its two goals in the 69th and 71st minutes of the game, only being separated by less then two minutes. Purse faced nine shots on goal and saved seven, while the Bison placed two shots on goal and gave eight shots overall for the afternoon.
Bucknell will face second Patriot League rival, Lafayette, Sautrday, Sept. 28 on West Fields. The Bison finish this weekend with a 5-3 overall record and 0-1 in the conference.
