Bucknell's Theresa Dennis Named Athlete of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's senior indoor track and field runner, Theresa Dennis (Wilkes Barre, Pa./Hanover Area) was named Patriot League Runners of the Week on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Dennis received the gold in the mile run at the Blue and Orange Open, on Saturday.
Dennis crossed the line with a time of 5:17.30 in the mile run. The Bison hosted the Blue and Orange Open on Dec. 7 to start the indoor season. Over 20 visiting teams participated in the season opener, including Morgan State, St. Francis (Pa.), Temple, West Chester and Towson.
After the winter break the Bison will get back on the track for competition. Bucknell will host the Gulden Relays on Jan. 11 and then travel to State College, Pa. for the Penn-State Octagonal the following Saturday.
