Bucknell's Women's Soccer Scoreless With Patriot League Opponent Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Patriot League rivals Bucknell and Lehigh played 110 minutes of scoreless soccer Wednesday night and settled for a 0-0 tie. Senior goalkeeper Laurie Purse captured eight saves en route to her fourth shutout of the year.
During the evening match-up, the Bison were able to hold the Mountain Hawks of Lehigh scoreless, despite 16 shots. The Bison tallied five shots during regulation and three during the extended play.
The Orange and Blue proved to be strong defensively when they held off the Mountain Hawks in the two 10-minute overtime sessions.
Bucknell will face Patriot League opponent American, in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Oct. 26 with a 2:00 p.m. start. The Bison start the week with a 6-6-2 overall record and 1-3-1 in the conference.
