Bison Women's Cagers Host Army for Patriot League Showdown

ABOUT THE ARMY GAME: Bucknell comes into this evening's game carrying a 9-6 overall record and a 2-0 mark in Patriot League play. The Bison, winners of their last four, most recently defeated Navy on the road, 69-52, this past Saturday.
Army comes into this evening's contest with a 6-9 overall mark and a 1-1 record in conference action. The Black Knights are coming off of a 78-69 victory at Patriot League newcomer American on Saturday.
THE ARMY SERIES: Bucknell holds a 15-10 lead in the 18-year history of the series. The two teams first met in February of 1984 with the Cadets taking a 69-54 victory.
Army proceeded to win the first five games of the series, and seven of the first nine, but since then, Bucknell has won 13 of the last 16 contests. Since dropping a 72-67 game in the first round of the Patriot League tournament in 1999, the Bison have claimed the last four games.
Bucknell holds a 9-3 advantage against Army in Davis Gymnasium.
SCOUTING ARMY: The Cadets enter this evening's contest with a 6-9 overall record and a mark of 1-1 in the Patriot League after a 78-69 win over American on Saturday. Army has performed better on the road this season, going 4-3 overall and 1-0 in conference action away from home.
Sophomore Katie Macfarlane is the squad leader in both points per game (18.1) and rebounds per game (10.5). Christina Canelli has been the playmaker this season, leading the team with 2.9 assists per game.
