Bucknell Men's Golf Rebounds to Take 13th at St. Bonaventure

OLEAN, N.Y. - Competing in just his second collegiate round, freshman Tyler Braun shot an even-par 70 on the second day of the St. Bonaventure Keenan Invitational this afternoon, helping the Bucknell University men's golf team move up four places from yesterday to finish in 13th place out of 17 teams with a two-day total of 612 strokes.
Over the final 18 holes the Bison finished with a team score of 295, which tied for the field's fourth-lowest score on the second day. After shooting an 81 on the first day of the tournament, Braun ended up tied for 30th place among 90 competitors with a 151-stroke mark. Tied with Braun was senior Nick Leibowitz, who turned in a 75 on the second day after posting a 76 on day one.
Completing the team scoring for the Bison in the second round were freshman Alexander Dolle, who recorded a 74 on the second day to finish in a tie 43rd place overall, and sophomore Charles Markey, who shot a 76 to finish tied for 65th. Shooting a 78 on the second day to tie for 76th was sophomore Scott Leeder.
The Bison return to action on Oct. 6-7 when they compete in the ECAC Fall Championship, hosted by Colgate University.
