Bucknell Women's Basketball Players Continue Tour With Planet Basketball

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Fairmont State's Kelly Harrison hit a 15-foot jump shot with seven seconds remaining to lift Planet Basketball to a 53-52 win over Ekeren, Belgium. The American squad that includes Bucknell seniors Rebekah May (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) and Kate Rounsley (Lock Haven, Pa./Lock Haven), and seven past and present West Virginia Conference players, is now 2-2 on its European Tour.
Harrison led Planet Basketball with 10 points in the win. Stacia Hamilton (California, Pa.) contributed eight points, and Jennifer Wilson (Fairmont State) added seven points and five rebounds.
Other planet basketball contributors included: Shepherd's Gail Siemer (6 pts., 4 reb.), Christina Plutz (Concord, 6 pts. 3 reb.), May (5 pts., 5 steals, 4 assists), Bluefield State's Cassie Miller (4 pts.), Gannon's Kristen Roseberry (5 pts., 6 reb.), Rounsley (5 reb), Shelly Bolyard (Davis & Elkins, 3 reb.), and Concord's Renee Gagnier (2 pts., 4 reb.).
