ABOUT TONIGHT'S GAME: The Bison enter this evening's game with a 3-2 record after dropping two tough games at home last week. The losses mark the first time since December of last season that the Orange and Blue have dropped two in a row. Bucknell looks to get back on the winning side with the final game in a four-game homestand.
Saint Bonaventure comes to Davis Gymnasium with an identical record after most recently defeating Buffalo, 56-43, on Sunday. Junior Courtney Mattingly leads the squad in scoring with 14.6 points per game.
THE SERIES: Bucknell and Saint Bonaventure are meeting for the first time in nearly ten years. The Bison trail the Bonnies, 4-1, in the series that began in 1985 with Bucknell's only win to date. Saint Bonaventure took the last game between the two schools on December 1, 1992, with an 84-82 victory.
SCOUTING ST. BONAVENTURE: St. Bonaventure comes to Bucknell with a 3-2 overall record. The Bonnies opened the season with a five point loss to Vermont, 55-50, before defeating St. Francis (Pa.), 64-52, for their first win of the season. After dropping its only other road game of the year, a 69-62 loss at Providence, St. Bonaventure has rattled off two straight victories.
