Men's Tennis Team Selected to Finish Fourth in Patriot League Preseason Poll

LEWISBURG, PA -- Bucknell tallied 36 points to finish fourth in a preseason poll of Patriot League coaches' and sports information directors' for the 2001 men's tennis season. The Bison finished the 2000 season with a 7-13 overall record and a mark of 1-4 in the Patriot League.
Army, which garnered 10 first-place votes, was selected to win the annual Patriot League men's tennis championship with 70 points. Close behind was Navy, who received two first-place votes for 62 total points. Colgate earned third place with the remaining two first-place votes for 54 points. Bucknell (36) edges Lafayette (32) for fourth place while Lehigh (28) and Holy Cross (12) round out the field

The 2001 Patriot League Championship will be played April 21-22 at Colgate University.
