#17 James Madison Scores Rapidly To Defeat Bucknell 4-0

HARRISONBURG, Va. - The 17th-ranked James Madison men's
soccer team scored three times in just under 11 minutes in the
first half en route to a 4-0 home win over Bucknell (6-5-1) Saturday
night, October 7.
The Dukes (9-1-1) got on the scoreboard at 11:59 when David Wood got a ball from Brandon Wright and chipped the ball into the left corner of the goal from 16 yards out. JMU's next two goals came within a 46-second span. Reggie Rivers took a cross from Wright and delivered a sharply-angled shot into the net from 12 yards out at 22:12. At 22:58, John Ambridge headed a Randy Steeprow corner kick into the goal.
Jukka Sundquist got the fourth goal with just 4:56 remaining in the second half.
Josh Kovolenko made four saves to get his fourth complete-game shutout of the year.
The loss ended a six-game (5-0-1) Bucknell unbeaten streak.
