A co-captain of the basketball, field hockey and softball teams, Jill Henry-Feeney was Bucknell's game (28 points) and season (265) scoring record-holder in basketball at graduation and was twice named to the Academic All-America College Division basketball team. Only the third Bucknell athlete in 60 years to captain three teams, Henry-Feeney was a three-year starter in all three sports after transferring from Union College. She led her junior and senior basketball teams in scoring and rebounding while setting a field-goal percentage record. She played sweeper on the 1979 field hockey team that placed seventh in the AIAW Division II national tournament, and she batted .286 as a pitcher and catcher in softball. Henry-Feeney was Bucknell's first Academic All-America women's basketball player and in 1981 received the Christy Mathewson Award as the top athlete in her senior class in addition to the Bison Club and multiple-sport awards. A graduate of Lewisburg High School, she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.Â
