A native of North Wales, Pa., Angelina (Angel) Heyse is the daughter of Joseph and Lillian Heyse. She graduated from Germantown Academy and rowed for Germantown Academy and Pennsylvania Athletic Club. Majoring in biology, Angel graduated as a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and the Bucknell University Dean’s List.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Angel was a coxswain in two Patriot League Championship boats. She earned silver medals in the Second Varsity Eight during both her sophomore and junior seasons. Angel also raced at the Dad Vail Regatta as a sophomore, junior and senior. As a sophomore and junior, she earned a gold and silver in the Second Varsity Eight and as a senior, a gold in the Third Varsity Eight. Outside of rowing, Angel was a member of the Bucknell Athletics Leadership Institute.
