Dear Bucknell Softball Alumni, Fans, and Friends,
Â
I hope this message finds you well as we embark on an exciting new chapter for Bucknell Softball! The fall season is officially underway, and we're thrilled to welcome six outstanding first-year players to our team. Their energy and talent are already making a positive impact as we dive into team practices.
Â
Our fall games are fast approaching, with our first match-up against Penn State and Seton Hill on September 22. It's a great opportunity for us to continue developing as a team, and we can't wait to showcase the hard work and dedication these student-athletes have put in so far.
Â
Some of the other dates we are looking forward to are listed below, but I wanted to highlight Family Weekend from September 20-22, where we’ll get the chance to connect with our Bucknell Softball family—both old and new. It’s always a special time to celebrate our program, meet the families of our new players, and build the strong community that makes Bucknell Softball so special. We hope to see you all in Lewisburg that weekend!
Â
Sept. 21, Orange and Blue Team Scrimmage, 9-12 p.m.
Parents/families are welcome and encouraged to join; we will host a team cookout after at Becker Field!
Â
Sept. 22, AT Penn State
11:00 a.m. vs. Penn State
1:30 p.m. vs. Seton Hill
Â
Sept 28 vs. Bloomsburg 12/2 p.m.
Sept 29 vs. Saint Francis 12/2 p.m.
Â
Oct 4 vs. Lock Haven 4 p.m.
Â
Lastly, I wanted to announce and welcome Brandon Peck, who has joined us as our new Volunteer Assistant Coach for the season. Brandon will be working closely with both offense and pitching, and we’re looking forward to the expertise and enthusiasm he brings to our program.
Â
Thank you for your unwavering support. Your belief in our program fuels our passion and drives us to keep striving for excellence. We can’t wait to see you soon and make this season one to remember!
Â
Go Bison!Â
