Dear Bison Friends, Family, Alumni, and Fans,
Â
I hope this letter finds you well and filled with the same excitement and pride that I am experiencing as I reflect on the Bucknell softball team's fall season. I'm thrilled to share some highlights and updates about our team's recent achievements and the exciting prospects that lie ahead in the upcoming 2024 softball season.
Â
First and foremost, the fall season was a time of experience and growth for Bucknell Softball. Our athletes demonstrated skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the season, setting a strong foundation for the challenges and triumphs that await us in the spring. The progress we witnessed during the fall gives us great confidence as we gear up for an even more thrilling and competitive softball season in 2024.
Â
Speaking of which, the anticipation is building as we prepare to unveil the official schedule for the upcoming season. We have curated a lineup of challenging opponents that will undoubtedly test us as we build for another run at the Patriot League tournament. Keep an eye out for the schedule, as we are excited to showcase all the hard work these women have contributed toward the 2024 softball season.
Â
One highlight from the fall that stands out is the successful hosting of our first Alumni Panel Zoom event with the team. It was a wonderful opportunity for our current players to connect with and learn from the experiences of our esteemed softball alumni. The insights shared during the panel were invaluable, providing a unique perspective and fostering a sense of continuity within our tight-knit community. We look forward to building on this success and enhancing future alumni engagements to create an even more enriching experience for current and former members of our Bucknell Softball family. If this sounds like something that might be of interest to you as an alumnus, feel free to reach out directly to me at ssc016@bucknell.edu.
Â
As we eagerly anticipate the start of the 2024 softball season, I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering support. The encouragement and enthusiasm from all of you fuel our athletes' passion and dedication. Your continued support is essential to helping us achieve new heights and create lasting memories for our student-athletes.
Â
In closing, I invite you to come watch this team in action sometime during the 2024 softball season. Stay tuned for the official schedule release, and mark your calendars to support our team in the games ahead. Together, let's make the 2024 softball season one for the books!
Â
Thank you once again for your steadfast support.
Â
Happy holidays,
Â
Sarah Caffrey
