Men’s Basketball Rounds out 2026-27 Roster

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell head men's basketball coach John Griffin III has completed what will be a new-look roster for 2026-27. In addition to early signees Danny Kennard, Mert Kocagozoglu, and Aidan Rousseau, seven players have been added this spring, including four transfers and two international signees.

Born Sept. 28, 2006 … son of Niels Otto Bergseng and Yngvild Mürer … both parents played and earned medals in basketball national championships … father earned seven gold medals, three as a player and four as a coach, and mother earned a silver medal … has one brother, Henrik Mürer Gystad … played for the U16, U18 and Senior National teams in Norway … was one of the youngest debutants in the history of the Norwegian National Team … MVP of U17 Nordic club championships … U18 national team all-star in Nordic Championship after leading team to silver medals … multiple all-star selections in national championships … nearly averaged a double-double in the U18 European championships while shooting 39% from 3-point range … this past season played for BAXI Manresa's LigaU affiliate in Spain, where he averaged 9.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and shot 38% from 3-point distance.
Coach Griffin on Bergseng: "An exciting prospect arriving by way of Norway, Ludvig developed within the prestigious Manresa system in Spain. As a coach's son, he brings a high tactical IQ and a competitive nature that makes him a seamless fit for our style of play. His height and skill combination will be exciting to watch this upcoming season."
Born June 5, 2006 in Nashville, Tenn. … son of Scott and Olympia Lamuno … has two older brothers, Eli and Andrew … 2024 graduate of Ravenwood High School, where he was a two-time all-district selection and a Mister Basketball nominee after averaging 20.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.4 steals per game as a senior … spent the last two seasons at Division II Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala. … named to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Freshman Team in 2024-25, when he averaged 7.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game … more than doubled that production last season, when he was the SIAC's leading scorer at 18.5 ppg … also tallied 6.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.1 steals per game while shooting 48% from the field, 36% from 3-point range, and 87% from the foul line … earned Third Team All-SIAC honors and was Elite 16 Player of Year … recorded a triple-double with 28 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds in a win over Albany State … scored a career-high 37 points against Clark Atlanta, one of 12 games with 20 or more in 2025-26.

Born Apr. 28, 2004 in Oyster Bay, N.Y. … parents are Shawn and Katherine Marshall … has one brother, Jayden … father played college basketball at Trinity College … 2023 graduate of Millbrook School before doing a postgraduate year at Air Force Prep … All-NEPSAC selection at Millbrook after averaging 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists as a senior … helped team to a 19-6 record and a berth in the NEPSAC Class B semifinals … began collegiate career at Air Force and had a big freshman year in 2024-25, when he played in 30 games with 17 starts and was a two-time Mountain West Freshman of the Week pick … averaged 6.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists per game … upped his scoring production to 7.4 ppg in league play to rank fourth among freshmen … scored a career-high 23 points on 10-14 shooting at Northern Colorado … had a 12-rebound game at San Jose State and handed out nine assists in a game at New Mexico … appeared in four games in 2025-26 before leaving the team for personal reasons.

Born June 27, 2006 in Loveland, Colo. … parents are Greg and Debbie Soden … has three brothers: Dylan, Andrew, and Trevor … played football and basketball at Bedford High School before doing a postgraduate year at Phillips Exeter Academy … won state championships in both sports at Bedford … First Team All-State honoree as a junior and senior in basketball and as a senior in football … set a school record with 1,502 career points on the hardwood … at Phillips Exeter Academy was runner-up in the 2024-25 NEPSAC Class A Championship … played his first collegiate season at Regis University in Denver and averaged 17.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.0 steals in 21 games, all starts … shot 45.7% from the field and 42.6% from 3-point range … 18.3 ppg in conference play … ranked sixth in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in scoring, fourth in 3-point percentage, third in 3FGs per game (3.0) … season-high 27 points vs. Colorado Christian and had 26 in a game three times … earned All-RMAC Honorable Mention after the season.

Born Apr. 3, 2007 in Chicago … parents are Bob and Jenn Youakim … has three sisters: Aliyah, Lillian, and Juliette … 2026 graduate of Charlotte Country Day, where he was the basketball team's starting point guard for four years … led the team to the state semifinals as a freshman … captained the team as a junior and senior and throughout his career won the team's Most Outstanding Player, Defensive Player of the Year, Leadership Award, and Most Improved Player … as a senior averaged 12.2 points, 3.1 steals and shot 47% from the field … named to All-Tournament Team at Charlotte Latin Winter Invitational … played with Team Charlotte UAA from 2023-25 and Team Charlotte MHC in 2026 … Phenom North Carolina Freshman Top Forty and Sophomore Top Forty.
