Men’s Golf Concludes Play at Villanova’s Spring Tourney

RESULTS
GALLOWAY, N.J. – The Bucknell men's golf team had a tough final day at the Wildcat/Fazio Invitational at Galloway National Golf Club. An injury withdrawal meant the squad had no leeway to drop the lowest score, and the Bison posted a 323 team score in a 12th-place finish.
Jack Hartman and Taylor Kuehn led the team with final-round 77s in cold and windy conditions. James Robbins followed with an 81 and Hayden Quinn shot 88.
Scores were elevated across the entire field as only champion Villanova (298) and runner-up Georgetown (297) broke 300. Only two players broke par, with Georgetown's Carson Erick posting a 2-under 69 to win the individual title by one shot over Villanova's Ryan Pamer and Navy's Chip Deegan.
The average final-round score was a lofty 77.87, and the average score for the week was a 77.31.
Bucknell returns to action on Saturday, Apr. 11 with a match-play competition against Holy Cross at the West Point Golf Course. The Bison and Crusaders will get a look at the course before it hosts the Patriot League Championship Apr. 24-26.
