Donner's DebriefingÂ
"This was a very good weekend for our entire program and I felt we were a great fit at a great meet with some very good programs. The facility was fantastic. We accomplished much at this meet with many PRs and season-best marks across all the event groups. It is always nice getting on a banked track to prepare for Boston in three weeks. Now we can regroup with a nice weekend off and do some quality training to prepare for the league championships."
Grant Kern finished third in the unseeded 3000-meter run. The senior distanceman ran 8:27.70.Â
Carter Paul joined Kern in notching third place honors. Paul logged 4:11 in the unseeded mile run.Â
The 4x400-meter relay "A" Team of Colin Burke, Adam Dicken, Paul, and Hollinger finished ninth on a time of 3:30.68.Â
Luke Petryna made Bucknell history in the 200-meter dash. The Bison sprinter raced 21.85, finishing 13th in the event, but eighth in Bucknell history.Â
Preston Lubeski ran 49.39 in the 400-meter dash invitational to finish 14th.Â
Dicken also placed 16th in the unseeded 800-meter run, racing a season-best 1:55.92.Â
Bucknell will rest next weekend before hosting the Bison Tuneup on Feb. 20.Â
