Men's Track & Field Posts Three Wins at the Bison Tuneup

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell men's track & field completed the regular season indoor season by posting three wins at the Bison Tuneup on Friday night. The Orange & Blue gathered a top ten mark, numerous personal records, and momentum for next weekend's Patriot League Indoor Championships.Â
Results
The distance group collected two wins. Mason Barlow conquered the 3000-meter run with a season-best 8:45.80. Michael Devine picked up an easy win in the 5000-meter run, logging 15:18.16, nearly a minute faster than the second place finisher.Â
Cooper Hyken finished tied for first place in the 60-meter dash. The senior raced 6.94.Â
Six Bison men placed second in their events. Aiden Tacker headlined the contingent with his placement in the weight throw. The veteran thrower tossed a personal best 64-9.75 in his first attempt. The heave moved him to third place in Bucknell history and the mark ranks second in the Patriot League.Â
Wade Shomper threw 58-00.25 in the shot put, finishing just behind Shippensburg's Gian Greggo's 58-00.50 for first place honors. Shomper's best toss arrived in his final attempt.Â
The jumps group unlocked several of the second place finishes. Lucas Williams cleared 15-5 in the pole vault. Jeffrey Cianfrocca leaped to a season-best 6-8.75 in the high jump.Â
The runners added two more second place slots. Hayden Singer led the herd of Bison in the 800-meter run. He finished with a time of 1:56.73. Nicholas Bouril ran 49.72 in the 400-meter dash.Â
Two Bison men placed third in their events. Luis Colmenares-Bittar landed a personal record time of 8.57 in the 60-meter hurdles. Cooper Hollinger logged 4:21.03 in the mile run.Â
Momo Peters slotted seventh in the long jump. He jumped a season-best 20-9.Â
Bucknell ships up to Boston next weekend for the Patriot League Indoor Championships on Feb. 28-March 1.Â
