Megan Krestinski Earns Bison of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Megan Krestinski of the women's lacrosse team has been named this week's Bison of the Week.
The senior put together an impressive performance in the women's lacrosse home opener and followed it up with solid play against a high-end opponent as the Bison went 1-1 on the weekend.
In Bucknell's 18-10 win over UMBC, Krestinski led the Bison in scoring with a career-high seven goals on seven shots, which tied her at second in the Bison record books for goals in a single game. She also recorded a team-high three assists to give her 10 points, which tied her for fifth in the record books in total points in a single game.
In the Bison's 21-9 loss to Penn State, Krestinski notched two goals on two shots, one assist and four draw controls.
Bucknell women's lacrosse continues non-conference play on Saturday, Feb. 21 as it hosts St. Bonaventure in Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium at 3 p.m. as a part of a double header in Christy with the men's team playing at 11 a.m.
