9/16/2025 11:02:00 AM | Men's Cross Country
LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell men's cross country team rolled to victory at the Jasper Invitational and the Bison swept the weekly conference awards, taking home Men's Runner of the Week and Rookie of the Week. It marks the first time since Sept. 13, 2022 when the Bison earned both awards.Â
"Henry has taken his running to a new level the past nine months and has established himself as a top league and regional runner," said head coach Kevin Donner. "Cooper is only a rookie, but he is adapting well to the collegiate training and seemed to have handled the 8k distance well. He has a bright future ahead of him."
Bucknell scored 32 points, winning the competition by 12 ducats over runner-up Siena.Â
Henry Didden continued his strong start to the 2025 season with a second-place finish. The senior captain ran a speedy 24:40.8 to comfortably grab second and lead the Bison contingent to victory. Didden finished fourth at the Lehigh Invitational and will look to keep posting top-five placements.Â
Cooper Hollinger commenced his collegiate career, finishing 39th at the Lehigh Invitational. He displayed immense progression, slotting 14th with a time of 25:30.9. He was the highest-finishing freshman at the meet.Â
Bucknell rests for a weekend before resuming racing at the Youngstown State Invitational on Sept. 27.Â
