Men's Golf Earns Team Academic Award

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's golf team has been announced as a recipient of the 2024-25 PLATFORM Team Academic Award by the Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA).
The Bison were one of 75 Division I programs to receive "Presidents Special Recognition" with a 3.5 or better GPA. Bucknell compiled a 3.58 GPA last spring, with five players making the Dean's List.
Last week, the GCAA recognized Michael Rudnick and Hayden Quinn as Cobalt All-America Scholars, which requires a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and a scoring average of 76.0 or better.
A GCAA-record 292 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award.
