Nine Bison Named to 2025 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Nine members of the Bucknell women's lacrosse team were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday. To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes had to be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

Bucknell was also named as one of the IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Squads. In order to receive this honor the team had to have an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.

The nine Bison honored are juniors Katie Browne, Catherine Dineen, Megan Krestinski, Alex Nesbitt, Regan Sansiviero, Caroline Sheridan and seniors Colleen Kazanjian, Taylor McClain and Aliza Thir.

This spring the Bison combined for a 3.52 GPA with 30 student-athletes being placed on the 2024-25 Patriot League Winter-Spring Academic Honor Roll…more than 88 percent of its roster. 25 of the 30 Honor Roll members also made Bucknell's Dean's List with a GPA of at least 3.50. Across the spring term, five Bison women's laxers recorded perfect 4.0 GPAs, four of which are a part of the IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll in Kazanjian, Sheridan, Nesbitt and Thir.
