
Women's Track & Field Wins Two Events at the Maroon & Gold Invite

BLOOMSBURG, Pa.- Bucknell women's track & field sent a select number of athletes to local Bloomsburg University's Maroon & Gold Invite on Friday and recorded two wins.Â
Results
Pole vaulter Elizabeth Bryant moved into second all-time in Bison history in the event last weekend and the junior continued her hot stretch, winning easily today. She cleared 12-5.50, more than five inches better than the second place competition.Â
Bradley Weldon picked up her third win of the outdoor season, easily winning the 5000-meter run. She ran 17:56.26, nearly more than half a minute faster than second place Lauren Joyce.Â
Senior Karly Renn generally competes in the pole vault but for the second straight week tried her hand at the long jump. Renn placed fifth, jumping 16-9.25.Â
Bucknell heads to the Red Flash Classic hosted by Saint Francis tomorrow.Â
