PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- Madison Fowler competed in the hammer throw on the opening day of the 2025 Penn Relays.Â
Results
Fowler faced stiff competition in the College Women's Hammer Throw and the rookie more than held her own against the standard, placing 16th. Her first throw went 50.20m (164-8). Her next attempt slipped to 49.13 (161-2). Fowler's last attempt went foul and that concluded her day as her best try did not make the finals cut.Â
Gabrielle Deglau (Penn State) won the event, throwing 56.42m (185-1).Â
One Bison thrower will compete tomorrow. Christine Ajao will throw in the shot put.Â
