Water Polo Decimates Concordia Irvine 21-10

IRVINE, Calif.- Bucknell (10-5) won its tenth game of the 2025 season with a dominating 21-5 victory over Concordia University Irvine. Ten different Bison scored goals with Olivia Hopper's six tallies leading the way.

Concordia led 1-0 but never had the advantage again as the Bison scored six net-finders in the first period to the Golden Eagles's two. The Hopper twins carried the show with Ashley scoring three and Olivia providing two goals.

The Bison added four more goals in the second period from four different players. The Golden Eagles once again only found two goals.

Bucknell's offense continued to shine after halftime. The Bison scored six goals again headlined by Olivia Hopper's two goals. The Irvine defense could not stop the Orange & Blue weapons and their offense did not keep pace only scoring three tallies.

The fourth quarter saw Bucknell finish the game with five goals to Concordia's three. Olivia Hopper tallied twice to obtain her game-high six goals. Izzy Lippolis finished with four goals.

Bucknell heads to the Aztec Invite starting on March 14.
