
Men's Track & Field Brings Home Top-10 Finishes at Penn Classic

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison men's track & field team participated in Penn's majestic Ott Center for the first time in program history and brought home several nice results including a top-ten finish in school history.Â

"Very solid meet. Lots of PRs or season bests across the board which gives us momentum going into the Liberty next week. The facility was great and we got some real nice exposure with the meet on ESPN."

Gabriel Pecaitis finished fifth in the pole vault but his clearance of 15-11.75 set a new personal record and established him in sole possession of sixth in Bucknell history.
Jason Lessieu recorded 21-11.75 for a personal record in the long jump placing third.
CJ Simbiri grabbed third place in the triple jump with a mark of 47-10.75.Â
Braiden Pulver threw 15.96m (52-4.50) in the shot put for a personal record and fourth place.Â
Jeffrey Cianfrocca cleared 6-6.75 in the high jump finishing tied for fourth.Â
Angelo Regec claimed sixth in the weight throw recording a personal best mark of 16.17m (53-0.75).Â
Amani Brown finished seventh on a season-best time of 49.65 in the 400-meter dash.Â
Bucknell's "A" Team of Brown, Brandon Foust, Colby Belczyk, and Preston Lubeski placed seventh in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:18.52.Â
Jayson Harmer broke into the top ten in the 3000-meter run finishing ninth with a time of 8:18.92.Â
