Hartman, Rudnick Post Red Numbers on Day Two of Loyola Intercollegiate

RESULTS
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Jack Hartman fired a 3-under-par 69 and Michael Rudnick followed with a 1-under 71 in round two of the Loyola Intercollegiate on Monday at Palm Valley Golf Club. Harman racked up six birdies on the day and climbed 17 places into a tie for 13th on the individual leaderboard. Bucknell shot 298 as a team and moved up one spot to 17th place with one more round to go.
Hartman followed up his opening-round 72 with his first collegiate round in the 60s. He started the day with a birdie at the par-3 16th hole. Later in the round, he was even after a bogey at the par-3 8th, but he played his final seven holes in 3-under to shoot 69.
Rudnick also finished strong with birdies on three of his final five holes. He made four on the day and moved up 11 spots into T-34th. The Bison also counted a 78 from Patrick Pritsios and an 80 from James Key on Tuesday. Indy James Robbins shot 77.
Richmond followed up its 11-under 277 with a 279 in round two, and the Spiders now have a seven-stroke lead over second-place Boise State, which put together an 11-under round of its own on Tuesday. Host Loyola shot 279 and is in third place, nine back of the lead.
Marshall's Ryan Bilby and Boise State's Cole Rueck share the individual lead at 10-under through 36 holes. Bilby shot 63 in the opening round and followed it up with a 71. Rueck's 6-under 66 was the low round of the day on Tuesday. Richmond's Cole Ekert (68-67) is third at 9-under.
The third and final round gets underway with a shotgun start at 11:45 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday.
