Men’s Golf Starts Loyola Invitational with 296 Tally

RESULTS
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Led by an even-par 72 from freshman Jack Hartman, the Bucknell men's golf team made its 2025 debut with a 296 team score in round one of the Loyola Invitational on Sunday. The Bison are in 17th place with two more rounds to go.
Hartman made three birdies, including one on the 18th hole to get back to even on the day. Michael Rudnick followed with a 73, and the Bison also counted a 75 from James Key and a 76 from Patrick Pritsios. Indy James Robbins also shot 76 with five birdies.
Richmond opened with an 11-under 277, good for a three-shot lead over second-place Middle Tennessee State. Tennessee-Martin (282), Marshall (283), Boise State (286), and Loyola (286) round out the top five.
A total of 29 players broke par on Sunday, led by Marshall's Ryan Bilby with a sensational 9-under 63. Bilby made 10 birdies and was 10-under on the day until bogeying his final hole (No. 12). Joshua McCabe of Grand Canyon is second at 5-under, and six players shot 4-under in the first round.
Round two gets underway on Monday morning at Palm Valley GC.
