Women's Soccer Places 23 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell women's soccer team continues to shine both on the field and in the classroom. In the fall of 2024, the Bison captured the Patriot League regular-season title while also combining for a stellar 3.59 grade-point average. This week it was announced that 23 members of the squad made the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.Â
To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average (GPA) in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports. Bucknell recorded a league-high 198 student-athletes out of a total of 1,336 honorees.
Of Bucknell's 23 Honor Roll members, 20 also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better, and seven women's soccer student-athletes earned perfect 4.0s: Reese Evans, Kelley Francis, Katie Schiano, Caitlyn Scott, Tess Sutter, Paige Temple, and Kalli Wethern.Â
Schiano was named the 2024 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and she joined Francis on the Academic All-Patriot League Team. Schiano, Francis, Evans, Temple, Wethern, and Sydney Hess all made the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.Â
