Richter Leads Bison on Day Two at Hammock Creek

PALM CITY, Fla. -- Paige Richter carded a 3-over-par 75 on Monday to lead the Bucknell women's golf team on day two of the Advance Golf Partners Invitational at Hammock Creek GC. Bucknell posted a 321 team score and remains in 17th place with one more round to come on Tuesday.
Richter started her day with a par at the par-5 17th hole, and coming back home she made birdies at 10 and 15 to help her post a 75. Sophia Bardunias followed with a 78, and the Bison also counted an 83 from Katherine Vice and an 85 from Lila Smith.
First-place Virginia Tech couldn't match its opening-round 275 (-13), but the Hokies' second-round 284 was still the best in the field and keeps them comfortably in the lead with a 559 total. Arkansas State is second, 26 shots back at 585. Jacksonville State (588), East Tennessee State (589), and Little Rock (590) round out the top five.
Virginia Tech's Valentine Delon backed up her first-round 65 with a70, and she leads the individual leaderboard at 9-under. Ashley Kim of Arkansas State is second at 5-under after shooting 68 on Tuesday.
The third and final round gets underway at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
