Richter Leads Bucknell at Navy Fall Invitational; Bison Sit One Stroke Off of the Lead

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Paige Richter led the Bucknell women's golf with a one-over par effort in round one of the Navy Fall Invitational on Saturday. The Bison currently sit in second-place at 18-over par, and they are just one stroke back of Stetson for the team lead.

Richter's 73 places her in third with 18 holes left to play on Sunday. The senior carded two birdies on the font nine for a one-under 35, and she finished two-over on the back nine. Richter is one stroke back of the lead as Howard's Laniah Moffett and Paris Fieldings are even-par after the first round.

Sophia Bardunias sits in a tie for eighth place among the field with a four-over 76. The sophomore made two birdies and was one-over par on the front nine.

Nicole Yun posted a 78 (+6) in her first round and Joelle Johnson finished with a 79 (+7).

The Bison are back in action to cap off the Navy Fall Invitational with 18 holes on Sunday. Tee times start at 9 a.m. for a shotgun start.
