
Women's Cross Country Heads to Lafayette Preview

LEWISBURG, Pa.-Â The Bucknell University women's cross country team heads east to Easton for the Lafayette Preview Friday night. The women's squadron will run the full grouping at this invitational after finishing second at the Father Bede Invitational last Saturday. The teams will be racing on the short course.Â
When:Â Friday, Sept. 6, 5 p.m.

- Bucknell finished second last weekend at the Father Bede Invitational, running mostly freshmen and sophomores.Â
- Freshman Shaelyn McNally introduced herself to the collegiate cross country world by winning the event and setting a 4k course record at the B&D Acres.Â
- Fellow freshman Kerry O'Day placed fourth and a third newcomer, Katie Moncavage, placed 12nd, giving the Bison three rookies in the top 15.Â
