
Men’s Golf in 12th after 36 Holes at The Goat

RESULTS
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Hayden Quinn posted rounds of 73 and 74 for a 5-over-par total of 147, leading the Bucknell men's golf contingent on the opening day of The Goat, hosted by Navy at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Course. The Bison are in 12th place with one more round to come on Sunday.
Bucknell fashioned team scores of 302 and 297 on Saturday. Pacific took charge with a 9-under 559 (274-285). Columbia is second at 574, followed by Loyola (577), Maryland (581), and William & Mary (582) in a strong 15-team field.
Quinn is in 27th place at 5-over. His day was highlighted by a 2-2 stretch on the fourth and fifth holes in his opening round. He birdied the par-3 fourth and then holed out for eagle on the fifth. Quinn also birdied two of the par-3s in the afternoon round.
Also for Bucknell on Saturday, Jack Hartman shot 72-76, Michael Rudnick shot 76-73, Patrick Pritsios carded 84-74, and James Robbins shot 81-78.
Pacific's Deitrek Gill started the day with a 9-under 62 before shooting 76 in the afternoon round. Gill still has a one-shot lead over Columbia's Grant Lester and Maryland's Will Gregware.
Sunday's final-round tee times start at 8 a.m.
