Overview
- This course will serve as the terrain for the 2024 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals. Bucknell will receive a sneak peek before the crucial meet.Â
- Bucknell will race against a diverse set of opponents, including four Patriot League foes and six Power Four squads.Â
- The Bison won the Lafayette Preview last Friday, blowing away the competition with their score of 16.
- Caryn Rippey won the race, posting a time of 17:13.6. Her mark was 36 seconds faster than the silver runner.Â
- Kailey Granger, Lauren Trapani, and Meghan Rentner were literally neck-to-neck during the entire race and finished as close as runners could do. Granger grabbed second place by running 17:49.6. Trapani was practically clinging to her back, finishing 17:49.7 for third place. Rentner picked up fourth trailing Trapani by 0.01 seconds with a mark of 17:49.8.Â
- Rippey won Patriot League Women's Runner of the Week for her accomplishment.
- Bucknell freshman Anna Carruthers finished 12th as the highest-placing freshman. In recognition, she won Patriot League Women's Rookie of the Week.Â
